The month of September is all about getting your relaxation on!
Join us for a relaxing playshop that focuses on neuro doodling! Experiment with different media types on mixed media, watercolour papers with different art mediums.
PLAYSHOP STRUCTURE
- Grab a name tag & find a space at the table
- Playshop Welcome & short grounding/breathing activity
- Overview of the playshop
- Play time where we will spend the majority of time in the creative activity
- Time may be spent on reflection through journaling either at the playshop or as a take away activity
- There will be opportunity to witness (see) what others have done or wish to share through discussions at the table, mini gallery tours, or partnering up with another individual
- You have permission to share as much as you like. You do not even need to share at all. Playshops are a safe and supportive space to be comfortable & feel supported. Just want to listen to what others have to say - no problem! This is a space to just decompress for 1.50 hours - no expectations, no pressure - just time for yourself!
- Mindfulness techniques are interwoven throughout the playshop that fosters compassion, self awareness, empathy, & non-judgemental behaviour

- Small group size to foster a safe & supportive environment
- Mixed media journal will be used for playshop & take away activities
