Wordless Journaling

Cost: 

• $20 - Includes all supplies, tea & coffee (mixed media journal not included).

• Optional - Additional fee for Mixed Media Journal $5.00 or bring your own

Playshop Structure:

• Grab a name tag, a cup of tea, coffee, or water & find a space at the table

• Playshop Welcome & short grounding/breathing activity

• Overview of the playshop

• Play time where we will spend the majority of time in the creative activity

• Time will be spent on reflection through journaling either at the playshop or as a take away activity

• There will be opportunity to witness (see) what others have done or wish to share through discussions iat the table, mini gallery tours, or partnering up with another individual

• You have permission to share as much as you like.  You do not even need to share at all. Playshops are a safe and supportive space to be comfortable & feel supported.  Just want to listen to what others have to say - no problem!  This is a space to just be for 1.50 hours - no expectations, no pressure - just time for yourself!

• Mindfulness techniques are interwoven throughout the playshop that fosters compassion, self awareness, empathy, & non-judgemental behaviour

Other:

• In-Person Playshop in East Hamilton (address will be sent once registration & payment have been confirmed)

• Small group size to foster a safe & supportive environment

• Mixed media journal will be used for playshop & take away activities

• Fees are payable upon registration via etransfer to theburgundyowl@gmail.com

• Playshops will be cancelled if less than 2 people register for Playshop & full monies will be refunded
