Wordless Journaling

Playshop Focus:

• Calm & soothing creative activity with watercolours & doodles

Cost: 

• $20 - Includes all supplies, tea & coffee (mixed media journal not included).
• Optional - Additional fee for Mixed Media Journal $5.00 or bring your own

Playshop Structure:

• Playshops start & end in a circle seating arrangement to foster connection
• Activities then move to a separate seating area where a warm up activity may take place & then the majority of time is spent in the main art directive
• Time will be spent on reflection through journaling either at the playshop or as a take away activity
• There will be opportunity to witness what others have done or wish to share through discussions in the circle, gallery tours, or partnering up with another individual
• Mindfulness techniques are interwoven throughout the playshop that fosters compassion, self awareness, empathy, & non-judgemental behaviour
• Note: you have permission to share as much as you like.  You do not even need to share at all. Playshops are a safe and supportive space to be comfortable & feel supported.  Just want to listen to what others have to say - no problem!  This is a space to just be for 1.50 hours - no expectations, no pressure - just time for yourself!

• In-Person Playshop in East Hamilton (address will be sent once registration & payment have been confirmed)
• Small group size to foster a safe & supportive environment
• Mixed media journal will be used for playshop & take away activities
• Fees are payable upon registration via etransfer to theburgundyowl@gmail.com
• Playshops will be cancelled if less than 2 people register for Playshop & full monies will be refunded
